Ever since I was a child I have been captivated by the great trees I used to see along the Mediterranean coast. Lamar is an interpretation of those tall umbrella pines I would see all the way down the coast into Spain. I wanted to give the shades different sizes and different colours, to evoke the abundance of the foliage. I can almost smell its summer scent.
